Download the file "SDS-100_V1_10_00.bin" and "SDS-100_SUB_V1._02_01.firm" and put those files on the SD card in the firmware folder. Ironically in early versions of Sentinel you could set the "Keypad Lock" option to On for the SDS100 and the keypad would be actually be locked after writing to the scanner so *part* of the keyboard ...W2GLD. On noisy or poor voice traffic some were unintelligible on the SDS100, the IC-R30 still had impressive clear audio.If this test still has the "Low Voltage" problem then try using the Mini-USB cable and power USB power supply that came with the SDS100 (without the GPS). I used the website www.tinkercad.com to edit the original .stl file. It was a fun learning process. Dodge is a great machinist as well as a 3d print designer. Both fully charged and locked onto one TG, the G5 lasted 20.5 hours, while the SDS lasted 8 hours. G5 screen timeout set to 45 seconds and SDS100 set to 10 seconds. Normally, they should last a least a few weeks to a few months if the main battery is dead. If the main battery is dead I've had mine work fine 6mo+ later. The marine case is touted as being waterproof/resistant so Uniden kept the moisture resistant feature and advertised it as a plus for the SDS100. But the marine portables don’t use SDR.
