Clips with speed changes will not decompose (menu item greyed out). Sometimes, I can force conform the clip from the Media Pool, and that will take care of the situation, sometimes when I try to do that, the clip on the timeline turns in to a still frame which is very odd.I’m not sure which one did it for me cause I saw the change later but you should try: Going to « Workspace » (menu at the top) and select « Reset UI layout ». Update your drivers. I discovered this issue after rendering. I would clear the markers and re-run the job in the render queue which reset the IN/OUT markers. If you're moved the files on the hard drive, the clips that are in the Timeline and in the Media Pool should show up as "Media Offline". There you can override the default behavior and set the output resolution to HD. I have them synced but the Add to Render Queue remains greyed out when I fill in all the info for a Video File. I have Filename and Location correctly completed. Any clues please. With your still in the Timeline hover the mouse curser over the front or the end and the trim tool will appear. click and drag to either extend or shorten the stills running time. Cannot select Anamorphic or 4:3 SD for project properties. I've run across what must be a newbie snag when trying to create a new project. When I create a project, and then go into its properties, seemingly no matter what resolution combination I choose, neither 16:9 nor 4:3 is available to me as an option. They display, but are "greyed out."Ok Davinci Resolve 16.2.8 (free version) works ok on my PC. It's only Davinci Resolve 17.2.1 (free version) has the problems same as yours (stated above), on my PC. Hm, ok. How do you get a slightly earlier version of Davinci 17 free version btw? Hi, Double click on the node to select. use Option S (Alt S) to add a node after the current one. If its greyed out with the recycle logo.. you may have a GPU resource issue. Lets start with one node first and make sure you can select that. Then add a second and see if that works. Peter.Nov 16, 2016 · For the clips with filters, I can decompose in place no problem. Clips with speed changes will not decompose (menu item greyed out). Sometimes, I can force conform the clip from the Media Pool, and that will take care of the situation, sometimes when I try to do that, the clip on the timeline turns in to a still frame which is very odd.
